Romance Writers Weekly ~ What’s That Noise

This week we have a topic from Leslie Hachtel – It’s 2 in the morning. You wake up and you hear a scratching sound. What is it?
So, I have two cats. One is not quite two years old. He sleeps in the basement, because the cat’s don’t get along. (We have a very nice, fully finished basement. It’s not as bad as it sounds. In fact, every night he pesters me until I get his Greenies and take him down for the night.

The other cat is thirteen and she is why they don’t get along. She loves to paw at me in bed. If she has the least bit of hope that I might be awake and available for petting her, she will paw at the blankets by my head until I’m paying attention to her.
So if I woke up to a scratching noise, I’m certain it would be my little girl cat scratching to wake me up and get some love.

Keep hopping for Leslie Hachtel
Hop back if you missed Jenna Da Sie
