Romance Writers Weekly ~ A Perfect Day

A.S. Fenichel Posted on January 19, 2021 by A.S. FenichelJanuary 19, 2021

I asked this week’s prompt. A.S. Fenichel – Describe a perfect day either in your life or in your imagination. What would it be like? My perfect day: It would be in Italy on the Amalfi Coast. The water is a perfect azure blue. The breeze off the ocean is enough to cool the warm sun and make everything perfect while bringing the scents of good food with it. Bread baking in a “forno” nearby and fresh coffee fill my senses. Cruise ships dock in the distance and Mt. Vesuvius is clear and awesome. No one rushes. Life moves slower … Continue reading →

Romance Writers Weekly ~ Flash Ficton

A.S. Fenichel Posted on January 12, 2021 by A.S. FenichelJanuary 12, 2021

This week the lovely Brenda Margriet wants us to write Flash Fiction using Happy New Year, cigars, orchids. Here Goes! If one more person wished her a happy new year, she was going to scream. Meghan sighed. Of course, she wouldn’t scream. It was the first week in January and she would hear it dozens of times before the month was out and people forgot there even was a new year. But, for her, there was nothing happy about it. She was alone. Her father was gone, her best friend had moved to Ohio to get married and that very … Continue reading →

Romance Writers Weekly ~ Happy New Year

A.S. Fenichel Posted on January 5, 2021 by A.S. FenichelJanuary 5, 2021

This week Leslie Hachtel gave us the topic: It’s finally 2021. What are you looking forward to this year? Happy New Year to you! I hope you are well and happy in 2021. I don’t know about you, but I’m looking forward to a year where I can see my friends and go visit my family. I hope and pray that will be 2021! I miss going to conferences and book signings. I miss seeing readers and talking to them. I had a wonderful gift of flower charms to give to readers at Book Lovers Con in 2020, but of … Continue reading →

Romance Writers Weekly ~ Bring Out Your Holiday Cheer

A.S. Fenichel Posted on December 15, 2020 by A.S. FenichelDecember 15, 2020

This week I wanted to see decorations. LOL A.S. Fenichel – Are your decorations up? We’d love to see some pictures and if you have an ornament with some special meaning, how about the story? I love all the decorating for the holidays. Despite that fact that I didn’t grow up with any Christmas traditions, I had lots of Christian friends and two Christian husbands and I love the decorating and traditions. We even have The Feast of The Seven Fishes on Christmas Eve every year. That’s it for me. I hope you like my decorating. I love to do … Continue reading →

Romance Writers Weekly ~ All I Want for Christmas

A.S. Fenichel Posted on December 8, 2020 by A.S. FenichelDecember 8, 2020

With the holidays nearly upon us, Leslie Hachtel asked, What do you really want for Christmas and why? This was harder to determine than I thought it would be. I want time. Time to think and time to be. I want to be able to fly across the country and see my aging mother without fear of getting infected or infecting her. I want peace of mind and fun back in my life. It’s a lot to ask, but that’s what I really want. Time. What about you? What’s your Holiday Wish? Keep hopping for Leslie Hachtel Hop back if … Continue reading →
