Snippet from A Lady’s Escape

A.S. Fenichel / Andie Fenichel Posted on November 9, 2018 by A.S. FenichelNovember 7, 2018

I thought you might like to read a snippet from my latest book, A Lady’s Escape. I hope you enjoy it. Chapter 3 Still put out by his mother’s high-handed move, Preston had to admit Miss Edgebrook had handled him nicely. She might have run out or gone into a rage when he’d become incensed by her presence. Instead, she’d formed a plan to find him a wife. Having not intended to insult or upset her with his memories about her first season, he’d been shocked when she left in a snit. His carriage rolled to a stop in front … Continue reading →

Romance Writers Weekly ~ What He Saw

A.S. Fenichel / Andie Fenichel Posted on November 6, 2018 by A.S. FenichelNovember 6, 2018

Well, it’s cold! But I’ve had a great week with Desperate Bride hitting #1 in several categories on Amazon including Regency Romance. So I guess I can’t complain about the weather. However, Brenda Margriet  has given us quite a chore this week. She asked us to pick a day or event in your life (ordinary or unusual) and describe it from a different point of view. This could be another person who was there, a stranger watching from a far, a pet – whatever you like. That’s a tough one. So… I picked the day I got “THE CALL”. For those … Continue reading →

Regency TidBit!

A.S. Fenichel / Andie Fenichel Posted on November 2, 2018 by A.S. FenichelNovember 2, 2018

Did you know that when attending a ball, men were required to leave their swords at the door? Not only that… They had to remove their boots and put on dancing shoes. It was more of a slipper and protected the ladies toes from unexpected missteps. In many cases the weather might be bad and the ladies wore their boots to the ball as well. Then everyone would change their shoes upon arrival. Coat checks were busy places with all the swords, shoes and perhaps a coat or two. Oh, but how I would have loved to swept off my … Continue reading →

Romance Writer’s Weekly ~ Ghosts and Goblins

A.S. Fenichel / Andie Fenichel Posted on October 30, 2018 by A.S. FenichelOctober 30, 2018

Welcome back to the hop! I’ve been blogging a lot lately, so I hope you’re following along with this and that. 🙂 This week Dani Jace said, One day away from Halloween. Have you ever seen a ghost or witnessed something paranormal? Received a sign from a loved one in the hereafter? If not, share the oddest thing that’s ever happened to you that you can’t explain. When I was a kid my mother was very into New Age stuff and we went to seances, card reading, and psychic what-not all the time. I’m a sceptic, but I saw some stuff … Continue reading →
