Romance Writers Weekly ~ Where the Magic Happens
This week I bring you the topic. A.S. Fenichel – Tell us about where you write, edit or create. Do you have a special place? Do you need a cup of tea or coffee? Set the writer scene for your writing time.
I like to edit at my desk and write elsewhere. I have a great office I share with my husband. I love it and I use it every day. I do all my blogging, editing, interviews, etc at my desk, on my laptop.
Then, when it’s time to write, I need to not be tied to the structure of a desk. I have a recliner and lapdesk in the office, When the weather is good, I sometiems write on the screen porch. If I can’t get in the groove, I’ll sometimes write in bed with a bunch of pillows and a cat. During baseball season (I miss baseball) I sometimes write in the livingroom with the game on.
So right now, I’m at my desk, but in twenty minutes I’ll be sitting in my recliner finishing up a novella for an anthology coming in July.
