Romance Writers Weekly ~ What Dreams are Made of
Leslie Hachtel wants to know —-Tell us what you dream about.
I have the most bazar dreams. One minute I might be dueling it out on the planes with marauders and the next flying my magic carpet to lands unknown. Recently I dreamed I was a young girls embarking on a new romance with a young man who I thought disliked me. It was a very odd dream, but stuck with me for a long time after. If I wrote Young or New adult romance I would definitely write that story.
When I was a child I dreamed of Dumbo flying me through the sky at night. I also had a lot of nightmares involving cats and angry family members. I have no idea why. I love cats. 😉
I still have nightmares and try not to watch anything with a lot of blood as it can set them off and they won’t stop for months. I don’t get nightmares from books or from writing scary or bloody things only from movies and TV.
I personally look forward to sleep and what dreams may come. I don’t always remember what I dream, but I always have an adventure. And they say the stranger your dreams the better and more active your mind. My brain must be constantly on the go, because my dreams are whacky.

Lord LaZander Rothchild, Viscount Milford is hiding. His hope is it will only be until the potential scandal in London dies down. Now at his aunt’s annual match making extravaganza, he hopes to avoid most of the guests until he can sneak back into the city. His aunt, unfortunately, has other ideas. Luckily, because of his propensity to be embroiled in so many mishaps, the marriage-minded mamas at the house party have blacklisted him concerning their daughters. However, one beautiful and tempting young woman, unaware of him on any level, seems determined to cast him aside as well. While she treats him not as the heir to a Marquess or a man of any real consequence Zander grows determined to prove he is a worthy option and may just set and get trapped in his own marriage scheme.
