Romance Writers Weekly ~ Pet Show and Tell!
Welcome back. I asked the group: Do you have a pet? Let’s see pictures. If not, what would imagine is the perfect pet for you and why?
Molly Cat is a funny cat. She’s not super friendly, though she loves me. She doesn’t like to be snuggled, but she loves to lay on my lap and be petted. Sometimes, she’s had enough petting and yells at me then runs away. We rescued her when she was very small, but she’s still afraid of everything. I mean everything… If you leave your shoe in the middle of the floor, she’ll cautiously circle it for ten minutes to make sure it’s not going to attack. LOL We love her despite her quirks.
Hop back if you missed Brenda Margriet.
Keep on hopping for Leslie Hachtel.
Two women. Years apart. Linked by common experience and a cottage that has survived since the Civil War.
Evelyn Smith has changed her name and is running from an abusive husband. She buys a cottage in Florida that has its own history, only to experience an attraction to the previous owner.
Rebecca Faber has rescued a Yankee soldier and fallen in love, but circumstances have forced her to marry an evil man who killed her father.
When Rebecca reaches out from the past, Evelyn finds it life changing.
And in their own times, each must find discover strength and fight to find and keep true love.
