I’m pretty sure this wonderful question came from Brenda Margriet. She’s one of my favorite Canadians and since the spelling is Canadian, I feel safe to say, it was her clever mind that came up with its.

So, here we go… If your favourite book hasn’t been made into a movie yet, who would you cast as the characters?

My all time favorite book is Persuasion by Jane Austen and you may know it has been made into a movie many times. I would love to see it done as a modern like they did with Clueless, a modern adaptation of Emma.

If Persuasion were adapted into a modern day movie with modern sensibilities, I would cast:

Emma – Kiersey Clemons – She’s funny and beautiful. I think she’d make an adorable Emma.

Mr. Knightly – Liam Hemsworth – Because he’s yummy and vulnerable.
