Let’s talk about food. What’s your favorite food or dish? Does it evoke a memory or is it something new that you adore?

I LOVE FOOD!!!!

I can’t stress this enough. My husband, our best friends and I have dedicated entire days to hopping from one place to another to sample their signature dishes. It’s so much fun. We also like a well crafted cocktail. LOL

On our honeymoon, Dave and I went to Italy and spent the first six days at a cooking school in Tuscany. It was fabulous. All the recipes we learned at that school are wonderful memories for me. We make some of them all the time, like my pasta sauce. Others like pizza and fresh pasta we make less often.

Just this week Dave, it was very cold and Dave made tomato leek soup. I love that soup! It’s good just as it is, but if you make some toast with a slice of good Italian or French bread then rub raw garlic over the warm bread. Put the bread in the bottom on the bowl, this soup is absolute heaven.

I love ravioli, spaghettis and lasagna. We learned to make all kinds of wonderful Italian food on our honeymoon and we’ve enjoyed sharing them all with our friends. For me, that’s the best part of good food, when you can share it with people you care about.
