Fall is here in the US! It’s my favorite season. What do you love about the autumn or do you have another favorite season?

Here’s is a picture of Fall where I live. I don’t live on the lake, but we’re about ten minutes away. Not bad, huh?

The weather has already turned cooler, but it’s still warm during the day. I love the cool nights and warm breezy days. It really doesn’t get any better than that.

Don’t get me wrong. I love summer and spring too. Winter, not as much. LOL But there is something about a crisp Autumn morning that is just perfect. The leaves get that scent of change and the lawn mowers slow down. People are outside more, but there playing instead of doing yard work.

It’s also festival season. Cider Festivals, Pumpkin Festivals, FallFest, and more…

I don’t have any kids, but when they go back to school, my neighborhood gets very quiet during the week, and I take the opportunity to sit out on my porch and do my writing there. I can spend hours with the cat and the people in my head. Perfect!
