Romance Writers Weekly ~ 5 Things
Leslie Hachtel asked us to: Name five fun things to do while staying at home.
- Dave and I planted a few trees and worked on some other gardening projects. If the stay at home order continues, I’ll plant my anuals and herbs. I’m currently keeping them alive in the garage.
- On the nice days we go out and play catch. This is a funny one. I was the kid picked last on the baseball/softball team. Now as a middleaged woman, I can throw and catch pretty good. I have no idea why. Maybe because I didn’t watch baseball as a kid and now it’s my favorite thing to do. (I miss baseball)
- Well, I still have to work. It’s distrancting and since I’m a writer, it’s a good way to disappear into fiction.
- Which brings me to #4, read, read, read. I’ve read two great books this past week. Worth the Wait by Karla Doyle and Matza Ball Surprise by Laura Brown. Both were quick, fun and sexy. Worth the Wait was SUPER SEXY.
- Home organization. I have not done this, but I see lot’s of people are really into their spring cleaning this year. Maybe I’ll give that a try. 🙂
Hop back if you missed Jenna Da Sie
Keep on hopping for Clair Brett
And don’t forget to garb a copy of Clair’s most recent release, Winn’s Fall.
Lord, Winthrop (Winn) Burton will die on his own terms. A family curse says he will die by the time he turns thirty years old. He will not leave a young wife and a child behind like his father did to him.
When childhood friend Miss Zoe Chase returns to stay with his sister and find a husband, Winn’s plans are thrown into chaos. Not only is the once gangly, awkward girl he remembers, is now everything that tempts him, the accidents that once plagued his life are happening to her.
He must keep her safe, but how can he do that when ravaging her is all he can consider? Or perhaps the curse isn’t a curse after all.
Will Winn die, or will he fall?
