In the beginning, there were two worlds.
The human world is bound by earth, fire, water, and air.
The elven world glows with the fifth element, Magic.
Over time the sister worlds split from each other
and humans forgot about the elves.

Centuries passed and the elven world thrived until a witch came into power. Beautiful and selfish, she used her magic to dominate rather than lead the elven people of Domhan. She cast a spell to keep men from ever assuming power, but the old gods twisted her spell and no female elves have been born since.

Darker and darker the Witch Queen became until many fled the great city. Those who remained were transformed into the witch queen’s army of shadow demons.

Without female elves to continue their race, the elves living in fear of discovery will die out while Domhan falls into darkness. The only hope is a prophecy claiming that the human world holds the key. Only with the three earthly women and their finders, can the Watcher’s Gate be opened. Inside lies the magic that can stop the Witch Queen.

The time has come for the three elven brothers to follow the prophecy and find the women who can save their world and stop the rule of the Witch Queen.

LIGHT AND SHADOW

Book 1

Harper
Elves don’t exist.

They don’t jump out of portals in the middle of the motor vehicle office looking like the god of thunder and claiming that I’m the chosen one to save the elven world. But that’s exactly what happened. Aaran is a pointy-eared magic-wielding elf, and he’s hard to say no to.

Then there’s the fact that I can’t get my own life together enough to renew my driver’s license before it expires. How am I supposed to fight a witch queen and save his world? He must have the wrong Jersey Girl.

Aaran
My job is to get the human woman and bring her back to Domhan, just as the oracle
commanded. Caring was not part of the deal. I shouldn’t have healed her mother, but my world is doomed and once Harper says she won’t help, what does it matter if I expend all my magic? It seemed like the right thing to do. I didn’t do it to sway her decision, but I can’t say no when it does and she agrees to help me.

The oracle said that Harper’s magic was strong but untapped. I pray they’re right or
we’ll never make it past the witch queen’s minions waiting to destroy us.

Wind and Water

Book 2

Liam
I’m a soldier, not a diplomat. The oracle sent my brothers and me to the human world to find the women destined to destroy the witch queen. I expected a fierce warrior, but Wren is as delicate as the bird she’s named for. At least, that’s what I thought—until she knocked the wind out of me with a single kick and walked away.

Turns out, she’s no pushover. And oddly, I like her more with every moment.

Wren
My great-grandmother used to tell stories about the fairy people—men with bright eyes and pointed ears who could steal a girl’s heart with a glance. I thought they were just tales. Then Liam walked into my life and tried stealing me from a dentist’s office.

Sure, he’s the most beautiful man I’ve ever seen, but I’m not about to join a war. I’m barely five-two and make jewelry for a living. Fighting witches and dragons? Not exactly my skill set.

But when Liam reveals the magic hidden inside me—and my mom insists I have a destiny to fulfill—I reluctantly agree to help save his world.

At the portal, we’re attacked by a dragon. Liam and I are thrown back in time while Momma is left alone in the elves’ world. No dragon, witch, or fate itself will stop me from finding her.

Fire and Ice

Book 3

Layla

I’ve never belonged anywhere. So, at the lowest point in my life, after losing the “Superhero” competition on national television, when a gorgeous man with pointed ears asked me to jump into a vortex and save his world, I jumped.

Not my most brilliant move, and we’re probably going to die or worse—get turned into one of these shadow demons that attacked as soon as we land. Apparently, my beautiful elf missed his magic class on portals.

Raith

I thought it would be hard to convince a human to fight a war in Domhan, but Layla jumped right in. That’s when I screwed everything up, just like I always do. I’m not perfect like my brothers. Not a good son and an excellent student, like Aaran, and not a respected soldier, like Liam. No, I’m the messed-up third son of the great Elspeth Riordan. I’ve disappointed my parents more often than I can count.

My magic is strong, but I rarely paid attention in school, so when I take Layla through the portal, I lose focus and we land on the wrong planet. I mean, when I screw up, I don’t mess around. The Witch Queen has a hoard of her shadow demons populating this hellish place, and they see us as their next meal.

I’m in trouble again, and this time I’ve dragged the stunning human into my chaos—only one thing to do now. I have to make this right.

Blood and Duty

(NOVELLA)

Rìan
Our mission is to save the elves taken by the witch queen during their trek to the capital, after the first human woman from the prophecy rescued them. When we reach the black tower of the witch queen, a fairy warns us that we’ve come to the wrong place. Fairies don’t leave the safety of their island, but this one is different, not to mention beautiful.

Still, I have a job to do, and it doesn’t include Niamh.

Niamh
I have watched Rìan Redmond for years. As my father kept tabs on the goings-on within the elven world, the captain of the guard was often in the scrying mirror. When he’s suddenly in front of me in flesh and blood, it’s hard to resist fawning. I left my people to help save the children being held captive, and nothing will keep me from that duty. If my handsome soldier falls in love with me along the way, who am I to argue with fate?

STARS AND SEA

Prequel (NOVELLA)

Nainsi

I have a duty to my people and intend to see it through. We came to the human world to find clues to a prophecy that might help us defeat the tyrant witch queen and break the curse she’s placed on the elven world. I came with my mentor, the woman who still rules our people without a throne. I can’t let her down because of an attraction to a human man. I should be stronger than that.

Bert

I’ve lived in and around the Labrador coast all of my life. Fishing boats and living off the sea are in my blood. I’ve never imagined doing anything else. The first time I saw Nainsi, I knew I’d give up my boat, the sea, and even my life to be with her. I don’t know what secrets she’s keeping, but maybe if I show her my whole heart, she’ll tell me who she really is before her home calls her away.
