What’s a Writer to do?
Okay, so maybe it’s not this far exaggerated, but it’s close. LOL…
Everyday, I come to my desk with intentions. Most days those intentions turn into words, sentences, chapters and eventually a book. Some days I’m brilliant and other days I’m a dope. Nothing and no one is perfect. The idea is to write every day until a book is done and then start another books and so on…
I love writing and I hate writing. No, that’s not fair. I love telling stories that give people an escape and transport the into a world of romance and happily ever after. It’s the best thing in the world to hear that you gave someone a laugh, or a cry. And if I can cause someone to stop and think, I’ve done my job. 😀
Really, we writers have the best jobs in the world. We get to live in a fantasy world all the time. Well, until reality comes crashing in and we have to go do the laundry. LOL
On a good day; I go to my desk, answer a bunch of mail, check social media and take my computer to some cozy spot and write for a few hours. Then probably have to either edit another project or plot one. I go back to my desk for those things. I like to write in comfort and do the hard work at my desk.
I’m obsessed with my planner. Have I told you that? I have a plum planner that I put all my notes and appointments in. I make lists and doodles and I have stickers. I love the thing. You can check out Plum Paper and make one of your own. They have all kinds of cool pages. You’ll love it if you’re into planners.
Here’s the one I just got for next year. Those are butterfly kisses. I love it!
Don’t forget to pick up your copies of the Demon Hunters for just .99 cents before they go back to regular price.
