Romance Writer’s Weekly ~ Spring is Sprung ~ Time For Q2 goals
The lovely Carrie Elks makes a very good point. “Spring is all about rebirth, and I always think it’s a much better time to make resolutions than at New Year. With that in mind, if you were to make any new resolutions what would they be?”
So this week your favorite Romance Writer’s Weekly authors are setting new goals and planning for the future.
Did you hop over from Gemma Brocato’s site? No? OMG, hop back, she’s awesome. But first…
The first quarter was good. I finished two books that were started last year. One is off to my Kensington editor and the other is searching for a home. In the coming months I have to edit Foolish Bride (Book 2 of the Forever Brides series.) I’m writing book three, Desperate Bride now and really enjoying it. Of course, book one will hit the shelves on September 27, 2016 and I can’t wait. That means there is a lot to do before then. Book releases take a lot of time and effort before you reach the big day.
I’ve started a new series…shuuuush…its a secret. Okay, I have no secrets. LOL. I’m bursting at the seems with my Seven Deadly Sins series. I need to hash out a few details, but this is going to be freaking fantastic!
Also, the rights to some of my early books are reverting to me this year. That means new covers and a new lease on life for several wonderful stories that got left by the wayside. A great way to keep up with what I’m doing and what books are releasing is to join my mailing list. I send monthly newsletters and will give you all the info before anyone else knows. Sign up HERE.
On a personal note: We are moving. Not sure when, but we will leave the fabulous state of Texas this year and mosey up to stunning Missouri. A new adventure is at hand. I love TX and our home. We’ve made some good friends here. Still, I’m excited for the move. I love MO and all it’s attractions.
Since I didn’t lose all the weight I wanted to in Q1, I’m still hard at it in Q2. I have managed to make my workout’s a habit and now just have to work on the snacking. Though, I’ve found some healthier choices and the weight is coming off slowly.
All in all, life is good! I’m thrilled with my career, though it would be nice it I made a living as a writer. Still working on that. My husband is wonderful, hot and loves me. I have two fur babies who bring me joy everyday. And the future is looking bright.
What’s on your Q2 agenda? What goals have you set for the rest of the year?
Keep going and find out what the awesome Leslie Hachtel has planned for the coming months.

All great goals and so much going on for you.. I can’t wait to have you closer. We’ll be able to meet in the middle somewhere and it won’t take all day to get together.
