Romance Writers Weekly ~ What’s Your New Years’ Resolution
Happy New Year! We’re back after our holiday break and we’re raring to go. I hope you all had a happy and healthy New Year and great joy in whichever other holiday you observe. Here in Texas it was cold and windy and that’s not normal. Usually it’s chilly and raining for the holidays, but this year is a cold one. My lemon tree is very unhappy. I’m praying it survives.
This week the fabulous Leslie Hachtel said, “Let’s talk about your New Years’ Resolutions.”
I don’t really make “resolutions” but I’m big on goal setting. Maybe it’s the same thing, but when I call them resolutions, I always fail. Goals I can put on my calendar and make them happen.
This year, I’ve separated them into two groups: Personal goals and Professional goals.
Personal Professional
Stick to a Paleo diet Contract a new series with a big 5 publisher
Lose 50 pounds Contract a new series with my current publisher.
Yoga and Walking Daily Write book 3 of The Everton Domestic Society series.
Sell our home in Texas Contract a Christmas novella for 2019 holiday season
Build our dream home in Missouri Be a better marketer
So you can see, my plate will be full this year. What’s on your list?
If you missed Jenna Da Sie, you have to hop back or keep on hopping to the beginning with Leslie Hatchel.
