Romance Writers Weekly ~ Projects, Projects and more Projects
I’m so glad you’re back. I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday if you live in the USA. We ate, drank and were very merry. It took a few days to recover. LOL
This week’s hop question comes from Lyra Parish – How many projects do you currently have started? Can you give us a quick sentence description of each one.
If you started here, hop back to see what the lovely Carrie Elks is working on.

This took me a little while to figure out. I’m writing Healing the Viscount. This is book one of a new series. I think the series name will be The Everton Domestic Society, but the jury is still out on that. These books are Regency romance with strong female characters who have reach the age where society deems them unmarriagable or perhaps they don’t care to marry where they’re told. In any case, they have chosen to work as domestic consultants, solving family problems and earning a living. Such fun.
.
I’ve written a contemporary called A Touch of Scotland and am working on a draft edit. This book is about a Hollywood star who has visions of a Scottish castle where something terrible happened in the distant past. She goes to Scotland hoping to release the terrible dreams that haunt her by figuring out their mystery.
.
Finally, I’m waiting on my editor to send me the first round of edits on Desperate Bride. This is the third book in the Forever Brides series. This book is about Dory and Thomas and takes you on a wild ride of mistrust and changing one’s fate.
.
Up next Jenna da Sie. Be sure to see what she has on her plate.
