Welcome back! This week I chose the topic… Leap Year! This is it folks; you get an entire extra day to do with as you wish. We’re always wanting more time and this year we actually get it. I got married on Leap Day in 2008, so this year I get a “real” anniversary. What will you do with your extra day?

A REAL Anniversary! Woohoo!!!

Sigh…. So despite the fact that we only get one of these on the actual day every four years, my husband goofed and booked a fishing tournament that day. I know… I know… But we are going to Maine in the fall to celebrate and he’s taking me out to dinner tonight. And we are going to celebrate with our closest friends with a quiet dinner on Saturday Night. So I guess I can’t be too hard on him. LOL

It’s been 12 wonderful years of marriage and almost 17 years together. We’ve beaten cancer, dealt with the loss of three of our parents, my brother’s death and we moved across the country twice. We built a house last year and if we can survive that and menopause, we can make it through anything.
