Romance Writers Weekly ~ HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Happy New Year Hoppers!!! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season. Speaking of that, this week Lyra Parish asked, How did you be spend your New Years? What literary goals have you made for 2017?
My husband and I plan to move to Missouri soon. We spent the holidays up there with some good friends. On New Years Eve we decided to avoid the craziness and went to Springfield at Noon. We visited 5 different bar/restaurants and had small bites and cocktails at each one. We headed home at 7:00 pm and after 7 hours of eating and drinking, I was done! LOL. It was a great day. We laughed and had a fabulous time.
For 2017 I have big plans to write at least two different series. Of course Forever Brides will release. Foolish Bride in March and Desperate Bride in September. I’m super excited about them and I really think you will love them. I’m waiting to hear back on a new historical series called The Everton Domestic Society. I have high hopes that my publisher will love it and I’ll be writing that in 2017. I also hope to write a contemporary series I’ve been working on. I have the first book finished and two more in my crazy skull. If all goes well, I have a super secret idea for a series I’d love to pitch before the end of the year.
So… Busy, wonderful, exciting year ahead! What about you, are you a planner or do you just let life take the lead?
Keep on hopping either back to Brenda Margriet or forward to Leslie Hachtel either way, you’re in for a treat. These ladies can really write and PARTY! LOL
Happy New Year to All!!!
Wow!! You have so many stories to get out, that’s incredible. I can’t wait to read all of your Forever Bride Series! Happy New Year 🙂
