Romace Writers Weekely ~ Hey! Watcha Doin’?
It’s a rainy Tuesday here in Texas. Hope things are warming up wherever you are. I love Romance Writers Weekly blog hop. It’s how it all began and how many of the writers involved met. When one works by herself, it’s nice to have a community to turn to and share things with.
This week, I am the culprit. I asked the group: When you’re not writing, what do you do? Hobbies, passions, goals…
Did you miss what Brenda Margriet had to say? You can always hop back, but first…

So what am I all about when I’m not in the writing cave? When I was younger I use to craft all the time. I don’t really know why I stopped. Probably just ran out of time to keep everything going. I have a garden. I like to grow herbs in pots and then I do have a vegetable garden that my husband boxed in for me. I putter out there in the good weather. I read, though not as much as I’d like. Really, I could use another two hours added to each day to get to everything I want to do. I adore cooking. My husband and I spent half of our honeymoon at a cooking school in Italy. We cook most nights and love putting great food on the table. We love to travel, though in the last couple of years we’ve been home more than away. I’m going to plan a trip to Spain very soon. Need to get those bucket list items checked off. 😀

The biggest part of my day, when I’m not writing or doing writerly things, is spent taking care of my fur babies. We have a fifteen year old dog who found us three years ago. She is very needy and loving. She was a neighborhood dog that someone was caring for, but when they moved they left the dog behind. (don’t get me started) However, I should thank them because our little Molly Dog brings me joy every single day. We also have a 10 year old cat. She was dumped on our front lawn when she was just a few weeks old. She is temperamental and adorable. She too is named Molly, but we call her Molly Cat now that Molly Dog joined the home. It didn’t seem fair to change either of their names. I’m not sure pets can be considered a hobby, but I sure spend a lot of time with them.
Keep on hopping to find out what keeps Jenna Da Sie busy.

Wow a cooking school in Italy sounds amazing!! We went there for our honeymoon, but we only ate. It’s good my husband likes to cook, because I like to bake!
I’m so jealous – that sounds like such fun! My husband & I cook together as often as we can, sometimes simple, sometimes complicated dishes. Our golden retrievers & middle-schooler keep us busy most, though!
