Romance Writers Weekly ~ My Love Story

A.S. Fenichel / Andie Fenichel Posted on May 7, 2019 by A.S. FenichelMay 7, 2019

Welcome back. It’s been a busy week, but now it’s time to talk romance. This weeks topic came from J.J. Devine – “One of my favorite sayings is, “Every love story is beautiful, but ours is my favorite.” Tell me your favorite love story.” J.J. is right, ours (mine and Dave’s) is my favorite. We met about three months after my first husband passed away. I was not ready to date or even think about dating. We had mutual friends, so we saw each other from time to time and we became friends. Finally, months later, I agreed to a … Continue reading →

Romance Writers Weekly ~ Where Does She Get All Those Wonderful Toys…

A.S. Fenichel / Andie Fenichel Posted on April 30, 2019 by A.S. FenichelApril 30, 2019

I can’t believe it’s the last day of April! Where did the time go? If anyone has a trick for slowing it all down, let me know. It’s beautiful here in the Ozarks. We’re expecting storms later today, but we have highs in the 70s and all is well. We are loving our new home. (If you want to see pictures, check me out on Instagram @asfenichel) The entire build is on there. This week’s topic comes from the fabulous Leslie Hachtel – Everybody always asks me where I get my inspiration. What is your favorite inspiration story and what … Continue reading →

Romance Writers Weekly ~ Your First

A.S. Fenichel / Andie Fenichel Posted on April 16, 2019 by A.S. FenichelApril 16, 2019

This week our topic came from the fabulous Leslie Hachtel. She asked, What was the first romance novel you ever read and how did it inspire you? Okay, so I don’t remember the first. I do vaguely remember reading parts of The Betsy in grade school because all the girls were reading it. There were books that changed the way I looked at reading and romance though. Most of those were in my twenties. The first time I read Pride and Prejudice my world tipped on its axis and I’ve never been the same. The Velvet series by Jude Devereaux … Continue reading →

Romance Writers Weekly ~ What’s in Your Purse?

A.S. Fenichel / Andie Fenichel Posted on April 9, 2019 by A.S. FenichelApril 9, 2019

Hello sweet reader! Back again for another round of Romance Writers Weekly. In case you’re new to our little hop, here’s how it works. Each week, a memeber/author picks a topic and we all write a blog based on that topic. Some weeks it’s about writing and some weeks it’s about life. We always clue you in to who’s next and give you a link to follow along. This week, Jenna Da Sie asked, “What do you carry in your bag/purse? What is in it right now?” This was a fun one. Here’s what I carry around in my purse: … Continue reading →

Romance Writers Weekly ~ Let’s Do Lunch

A.S. Fenichel / Andie Fenichel Posted on April 2, 2019 by A.S. FenichelApril 2, 2019

This week Leslie Hachtel give us our topic… If you could have lunch with any (living) author, who would it be and why? This was an easy one. If I could have lunch with a living author it would be Stephen King. Don’t you think he’d be a blast to sit and break bread with? He’s a great writer, an incredible story teller, a self-made man, and he has the most diabolical mind. I want to know about Pet Cemetery, The Gunslinger and so many more stories that kept me up at night. I want to know if they keep … Continue reading →
