Romance Writers Weekly ~ A Girl Can Dream

A.S. Fenichel / Andie Fenichel Posted on April 7, 2020 by A.S. FenichelApril 7, 2020

This week’s topic comes from me. I asked my fellow authors, Other than the genre you write, what kind of books do you love to read and why? I love so many types of books. Mostly romance, but not entirely. I love fantasy and science fiction. I read contemporary romance, paranormal…. I read a lot of history for research and because I love it. I find all books a great escape. I love finding one that will carry me away and I’ll stay up all night to finish. I love characters who you want to hug and strangle at the … Continue reading →

Romance Writers Weekly ~ Spring Has Sprung

A.S. Fenichel / Andie Fenichel Posted on March 31, 2020 by A.S. FenichelMarch 31, 2020

This week out topic comes from Leslie Hachtel. She says, Spring is just around the corner. What are you most looking forward to? In Southern Missouri spring is already here. The trees have their sappy pale green leaves. The rain comes almost every other day. We have days in the 70s and then some in the 40s. We even had a day or two in the 80s last week. I live on a high point in the Ozark mountains, so its been quite windy. I most look forward to warm weather because I hate the cold. We started working on … Continue reading →

Romance Writer’s Weekly ~ Favorite Unknown

A.S. Fenichel / Andie Fenichel Posted on March 24, 2020 by A.S. FenichelMarch 24, 2020

Please everyone, be safe, stay home, read books. You’re too important to take risks. xoxo, Andie This week Brenda Margriet, who also wants you to stay home, asked, What’s your favourite book that “no one” has heard of? That’s a tongue in cheek way of asking you to name your favourite book that isn’t a classic or by an author that consistently sits on the best seller lists. It can be fiction or non-fiction. Not to be bossy, but you should read everything Jane Austen ever wrote. Not just watch the movies and miniseries, which are awesome, but actually read … Continue reading →

Romance Writers Weekly ~ Fictional Friends

A.S. Fenichel / Andie Fenichel Posted on March 17, 2020 by A.S. FenichelMarch 17, 2020

This week we get our topic from the fabulous Jenna Da Sie – What fictional characters (from tv, books, movies) would you be friends with if you could? This was a tough question! I think I’d have to say Jane Austen. I’d love to pick her brain and find out what she loved, hated, tolerated. It woudl the the most wonderful friendship. But the question was for fictional characters so… in that same though, I’d have to say Elinor Dashwood from Sense and Sensiblility or Ann from Persuasion. What fantastic women Jane created. I’d love to spend my time with … Continue reading →

Romance Writers Weekly ~ Resolution … what?

A.S. Fenichel / Andie Fenichel Posted on March 3, 2020 by A.S. FenichelMarch 3, 2020

We have reached March and I just can’t believe it. This week our topic come from Clair Brett: How are we all doing on our New Year’s resolutions/goals? What are your tips for sticking to it. When do you decide to scream “Plot Twist” and go in a different direction. I had my goals broken down into categories. So let’s see how I’m doing. Health: Workout 5 days a week. (so so. I still need to work on this. Healthy eating. (Not bad actually.) Lose weight. (I’ve lost 10 pounds!) Yoga. (Nope… Must fit this in) Meditation. (Nope… 🙁 I’ll … Continue reading →
