Romance Writer’s Weekly ~ Favorite Unknown

A.S. Fenichel / Andie Fenichel Posted on March 24, 2020 by A.S. FenichelMarch 24, 2020

Please everyone, be safe, stay home, read books. You’re too important to take risks. xoxo, Andie This week Brenda Margriet, who also wants you to stay home, asked, What’s your favourite book that “no one” has heard of? That’s a tongue in cheek way of asking you to name your favourite book that isn’t a classic or by an author that consistently sits on the best seller lists. It can be fiction or non-fiction. Not to be bossy, but you should read everything Jane Austen ever wrote. Not just watch the movies and miniseries, which are awesome, but actually read … Continue reading →

Romance Writers Weekly ~ Fictional Friends

A.S. Fenichel / Andie Fenichel Posted on March 17, 2020 by A.S. FenichelMarch 17, 2020

This week we get our topic from the fabulous Jenna Da Sie – What fictional characters (from tv, books, movies) would you be friends with if you could? This was a tough question! I think I’d have to say Jane Austen. I’d love to pick her brain and find out what she loved, hated, tolerated. It woudl the the most wonderful friendship. But the question was for fictional characters so… in that same though, I’d have to say Elinor Dashwood from Sense and Sensiblility or Ann from Persuasion. What fantastic women Jane created. I’d love to spend my time with … Continue reading →

Romance Writers Weekly ~ Resolution … what?

A.S. Fenichel / Andie Fenichel Posted on March 3, 2020 by A.S. FenichelMarch 3, 2020

We have reached March and I just can’t believe it. This week our topic come from Clair Brett: How are we all doing on our New Year’s resolutions/goals? What are your tips for sticking to it. When do you decide to scream “Plot Twist” and go in a different direction. I had my goals broken down into categories. So let’s see how I’m doing. Health: Workout 5 days a week. (so so. I still need to work on this. Healthy eating. (Not bad actually.) Lose weight. (I’ve lost 10 pounds!) Yoga. (Nope… Must fit this in) Meditation. (Nope… 🙁 I’ll … Continue reading →

Romance Writers Weekly ~ Leap Year!

A.S. Fenichel / Andie Fenichel Posted on February 25, 2020 by A.S. FenichelFebruary 25, 2020

Welcome back! This week I chose the topic… Leap Year! This is it folks; you get an entire extra day to do with as you wish. We’re always wanting more time and this year we actually get it. I got married on Leap Day in 2008, so this year I get a “real” anniversary. What will you do with your extra day? A REAL Anniversary! Woohoo!!! Sigh…. So despite the fact that we only get one of these on the actual day every four years, my husband goofed and booked a fishing tournament that day. I know… I know… But … Continue reading →

Romance Writers Weekly ~ Winter Blues!

A.S. Fenichel / Andie Fenichel Posted on February 18, 2020 by A.S. FenichelFebruary 18, 2020

Welcom back, dear reader! This week’s topic comes from Brenda Margriet Do you get the winter doldrums? How do you deal with cabin fever? I admit it! I HATE winter. When we lived in Texas, I adored that there was almost no winter. Once in a while we’d get a tiny bit of snow that would melt by 10:00 am and if we did get a cold snap, it would last a couple of weeks and then spring would prevail. Now I’m in the Midwest and I’m not a fan of this cold. I stay inside if possible. I love … Continue reading →
